Well who’d have thought it? Half way through the year already – and the days will soon be getting shorter again. Where is this year going?
Things have never been busier here at Holiday Inn Telford – Ironbridge, and we seem to have events and activities going on at every turn.
One of the most exciting is the T-Live festival that’s set to take place later this summer.
We’ve been working closely with Telford & Wrekin Council to make sure we’re ready to welcome the influx of music fans who will descend on Telford for the two-day event, and there are some great hotel and ticket packages available.
June will also see our next bookers’ evening – they’re always great fun for our clients, but they mean we need to get a lot of hard work done behind the scene.
For our previous meeting with regional bookers, we created a Bollywood theme which was so well received that we’re going to have to pull something really special out of the bag to beat that one!
Of course, the start of summer means Christmas is one step closer, and we’re firmly focussed on the festive season.
And you may not believe it, but some incredibly organised people are already booking up party nights with this year’s packages proving particularly popular even at this early stage. So make sure you don’t miss out – take a look at what we’re planning on our website and get your bookings in early!
This Sunday we are hosting a wedding fair too, where we showcase our hotel facilities and demonstrate just what an incredible occasion we can create to mark your special day. You’ll also be introduced to a whole host of specialist suppliers who can help transform your wedding ideas into a reality.
Don’t forget either, it’s Father’s Day on June 15th. Mother’s Day always seems to be an extremely special occasion for families, but sometimes I wonder if Dads get a raw deal when it comes to their turn.
Now’s your chance to spoil him with a delicious three-course Sunday lunch in our Olive Tree Restaurant – we’ll do the cooking so you’ll get to treat your Dad, and your Mum at the same time!
